Market Square Group in September 2016

We took a little downtime event wise during August to take stock of what has been a really great 2016 so far and to plan the months ahead.

It has been a pleasure to visit so many new places and receive such a warm welcome while we were there – not least when we visited the beautiful town of Hythe on Kentish coast.

The inaugural Hythe Food and Drink Festival was a fantastic weekend in the glorious summer sunshine and we are pleased to say we will be returning in 2017, from July 21 to 23, so get this date in the diary.

We have also confirmed dates for next year’s Stamford Food and Drink Festival (June 16 to 18 2017) and Stamford Music Festival (July 14 to 16 2017), both of which we plan to build on the success from the summer.

Before these, we have lots still to come in 2016.

We have been busy confirming dates for our Christmas Markets and Fayres and you can see a run-down of events here on our website, including markets in Colchester, Clissold Park, Sevenoaks, Durham, Tenterden and Milton Keynes.

All these events are now open for trader booking so please act now by registering at https://www.marketsquaregroup.co.uk/core/register

Yes, we know it is really a little too early to be talking about Christmas so that is why we have a calendar of autumn events to publicise too.

There is just two weeks until the Cambridge Craft Beer and Cider Festival (September 23 to 25). We have a great array of breweries taking part and tickets are on sale from here costing £3.50 a session. CAMRA members can also take advantage of 50 pence of a pint when there.

We will be making our second visit of the year to Clissold Park and Sevenoaks with our Harvest Moon festivals this month.

And another new date has just been announced for Market Harborough from October 8 to 10.

So, as you can see, we didn’t spend August resting on our laurels – we have a superb event calendar so please do get in touch if you’d like to book as a trader.

That’s it for now. Enjoy the rest of September’s warmer days before we have to ditch our shorts and T-shirts and rummage around the wardrobe to locate our hats and scarves.
