Rossendale Markets are holding Christmas Markets on 5^th, 11^th & 12^th December 2009 across their 3 markets.  The Markets will play host to traders with specialist Christmas themed stalls alongside the existing markets.  There will also be entertainment and a fantatstic atmosphere.  Special prices are offered to traders for this event, just £10 per day and if you trade all 3 days the cost is just £20!  Interested traders should contact Catherine Taylor on 01706 252541 or catherinetaylor@rossendalebc.gov.uk for an application form.

High Wycombe - Buckinghamshire 

We are looking for themed markets for some special Christmas events being held in High Wycombe and I would really appreciate your help with this.Christmas is a special time for the people of High Wycombe. 

Each year thousands of customers from the town and the wider region visit the town to take part in their unique Christmas celebrations.  This year they anticipate will be their biggest Christmas ever.  Not only are they now a this Christmas will be managed by the Town partnership which means that they have close to 50 local businesses lending their support. On Thursday the 19 of November the Christmas events kick off with a parade along the High Street and the Mayor turning on the Christmas Tree lights and a range of fun festive activities. 

It is anticipated that there will be turn out of up to 20,000 attending the Christmas events in High Wycombe on that day alone.  

On the following 4 Thursdays there will be speciality markets and festive attractions including a fun fair, husky rides and Christmas music.BBC3 Counties will be promoting these Christmas events on the radio and there will be a Buck Free Press special on them

There are 2 events that we need markets forThursday 26 to Saturday 28November a 3 day market to be held in the Frogmore site of High Wycombe. This is just next to the High Street and where the town’s Christmas Tree will be located. The Christmas lights will be turned on so it will all look very festive! This site can accommodate 15-16 stalls Thursday 17December on the High Street. having a good themed market there is what is important. 10 to 20 stalls would be no problem.

Wimbledon - SW London

Winter Wonderland comes to Wimbledon this year on Thursday 26th November. This year we are ‘full on’ with Parade, Fireworks Display, Stage/Lights/PA on the Piazza for live music and dance performances; AFC Wimbledon at Wimbledon Station; street entertainers throughout; 25 Market Stalls on the Piazza; Celebrity cast members from NWT’s Aladdin with Radio Jackie to turn on the NEW Christmas lights in town centre. 

The event brings in around 1800-2000 visitors and is our biggest event of the year. As a stall holder, I would advise that you should measure your return on investment not just in sales you make on the night but in the huge marketing opportunity it will give you to reach a family/business/local audience in a unique setting; the coverage you get through the website and in the Guardian newspaper issue that promotes the event; the search engine benefits for your website by having a link from a high ranking page that will remain all year – you will find that the sales/enquiries continue beyond just the evening. 

The timing of this event to reach the Christmas buying public is also perfect, coming late in November and being a Christmas event.our stalls are 7ft x 3ft and come with cover, table top and festoon lighting.  The stalls will run the length of the Piazza (between Morrisons and Odeon – see picture below).  Set up is from 2pm, trading until 8pm.  Your company will also be listed in the Guardian wrap as well as on our website with website link. The market stall costs £150 (VAT exempt).
